I am a counselling psychologist registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) providing psychotherapy services in the heart of Cape Town.  I completed my Masters in Counselling Psychology at Rhodes University where I graduated with distinction and was awarded the Kurt Gillis Prize for academic excellence.

 

I offer an integrative approach to psychotherapy that draws on psychoanalytic, humanistic, cognitive and systems theories to understand and help my clients, and work within an interpersonal framework that places the relationship between the client and the therapist at the heart of the work.

As a counselling psychologist I am committed to helping my clients to navigate life's  day-to-day challenges, as well as provide assistance with adjustment and developmental difficulties in order to optimise wellbeing.

I have had the privilege to assist a wide range of clients in private practice, community, and educational settings, and have worked as a counselling psychologist and psychotherapist in both the UK and South Africa.
