How Can Psychotherapy Help?

Psychological discomfort can take various forms, ranging from significant distress, to having vague and uncomfortable feelings, with a sense that things are not ok.  In addition to facilitating the development of healthier pathways with which to navigate life, psychotherapy provides support within an empathic therapeutic relationship, assists in the relief of symptoms and distress, and creates a safe space in which to gain clarity and deeper understanding of personal experience.

Every individual has within themselves vast resources to develop, grow, feel positive and cope with the daily struggles of life; however these resources can become compromised as a result of painful life experiences, as well as environmental and relational stressors.

 

As your therapist, I will create a warm and accepting environment in which you can work through these difficult experiences , while helping you to reconnect with your inner resources to flourish as the unique person that you are.
